The smallest Mercedes-Benz SUV, the subcompact GLA, certainly has an outsized personality. Although it isn’t recommended for towing, it offers the best fuel economy you’ll find in our SUV lineup. It’s available in a high-performance AMG® build that offers incredible thrills.

This luxury compact SUV, the Mercedes-Benz GLC, offers more interior space and power than the subcompact GLA, but it’s no less light on its feet. It’s a good alternative for drivers who value fuel economy and agility, but who aren’t quite satisfied with the towing capacity and cargo space of the GLA.
